Ingredients

2-3 people, over rice

Method

  1. Mix all the seasoning mix ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Mince the garlic.
  3. Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Saute the garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant; do not let it burn.
  6. Add the ground pork and break it up with a spatula.
  7. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the pork is no longer pink.
  8. Add the seasoning mix, stir, and bring to a boil.
  9. Add the tofu and gently coat it with the sauce.
  10. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently so the tofu does not mash.
  11. Serve immediately over rice, topped with spring onion if you like.

Tips

For a milder version, use 2 tsp broad bean paste instead of 1.5 tbsp.
